How Long Does a RAZ Last? Days by Model, Plus How to Charge It

A RAZ lasts as long as its e-liquid: the battery recharges, so capacity in millilitres divided by daily use is the whole calculation. The 4 RAZ kits in the Vaperan catalog that publish a capacity hold 13 to 19 mL, which at about 1 mL a day is 13 to 19 days. The day counts are arithmetic, rounded down, not manufacturer claims. Puff ratings are machine maxima in the lowest power mode; 1 of these models publishes more than one puff figure (a boost mode that uses liquid faster, or a per-pod and a total figure on pod kits) (puff counts explained). How to charge a RAZ

• Port: USB Type-C on every RAZ model we stock that publishes it. A cable is usually not included (the product page’s in-the-box answer says what ships); any Type-C cable on a plain 5 V USB port works. Some fast chargers refuse to power a device that cannot negotiate; use a basic port.
• Time: RAZ does not publish a charge time. The 650 to 900 mAh cells in these models take roughly one to three hours from flat on a standard port.
• Indicator: 3 of the 4 models have a screen that shows the battery level; the others use the LED. A deeply flat cell can stay dark for the first minutes of charging.
• Rules: hard surface, not overnight, not in a hot car, never a damaged cable (battery safety). Not charging at all: the checks in order.

RAZ not hitting: four checks

1. Battery. No light, no vapor: charge it 20 minutes.
2. E-liquid. Light on, no or weak vapor, or a burnt taste: it is empty. Screen models show the level; how to tell if a disposable is empty covers the rest.
3. Airflow. On models with an adjustable airflow, fully closed can stop the draw sensor firing; open it a notch. Lint over the intake does the same.
4. Mouthpiece. Condensation or a blocked mouthpiece: blow gently through it onto a tissue, wipe, try again.

What does the boost or turbo mode on a RAZ do?

On the models that have one, it raises the power to the coil for denser vapor and stronger flavor, and uses e-liquid faster; that is why those models publish a lower puff rating for the boost mode. It does not change the nicotine strength.

How do I turn on a RAZ?

You do not. Every RAZ disposable we stock is draw-activated: it fires when you inhale. Models with a boost or turbo mode have a switch or button for the mode only; the device itself has no power button.
