A puff count is the manufacturer’s maximum figure for a device, printed on its specification list. The disposables at Vaperan are rated from 1,000 to 100,000 puffs, with a median of 40,000. The rating does not tell you how long a device lasts; its e-liquid capacity does.

What a puff rating is

It is a number the manufacturer publishes. The specification lists do not state how it was measured. 27 of the 110 disposables name two or more modes and print one rating per mode, for example Geek Bar Pulse X 25K: Regular Mode: 25K | Pulse Mode: 15K; Geek Bar Pulse 15000: Regular Mode: 15000 | Pulse Mode: 7500; RAZ LTX 25000: 25000 (Turbo Boost Mode) | 15000 (Normal Mode).

Why ratings cannot be compared between models

Across the 74 single-piece disposables that publish both a puff rating and a capacity, the rated puffs per millilitre of e-liquid run from 200 (Air Bar Diamond+ 1K: 1,000 puffs from 5 mL) to 4,000 (Airis Neo P40K: 40,000 puffs from 10 mL), with a median of 1,934. Two devices with the same amount of e-liquid can carry very different ratings, so the rating is not a common yardstick.

What to compare instead

• E-liquid capacity (mL). The amount of liquid in the device: 5 to 40 mL in the catalog, median 18 mL. Every model’s capacity is on how long disposable vapes last.
• Battery (mAh). Sizes are on disposable vape battery sizes.

An estimate from capacity

Divide the capacity by your own daily use. The day counts on this site use about 1 mL a day as a working figure: an 18 mL device is then about 18 days, 9 at double that use and 36 at half. The figure is our assumption for the arithmetic, not a manufacturer claim.

Why this matters for warranty claims
