What does Pulse mode mean on a Geek Bar?

Most Geek Bar models have two power settings. Regular mode runs the coil at lower power. Pulse mode raises the power for denser vapor and stronger flavor, and uses e-liquid faster. That is why the box shows two puff ratings: the Pulse X, for example, is rated at 25K puffs in regular mode and 15K in pulse mode.

How many puffs does a Geek Bar have?

The rating depends on the model and the mode, from 15,000 on the Pulse to 80,000 on the Burj in its economy setting. These figures are manufacturer maximums measured with short machine puffs. Capacity in millilitres is the better guide to how long a device lasts: see how long a Geek Bar lasts.

Disposable, kit or pod?

Most Geek Bars are single-piece devices: when the e-liquid is gone, the whole device is finished. The Mate 60K is different. It is sold as a kit with a reusable battery, and the prefilled pod is replaced when it runs out, which costs less than a new kit each time.

Which Geek Bar should you choose?

• Smallest and cheapest: compare the prices in the table; the Pulse 15000 is the compact option.
• Longest run time: pick the largest e-liquid capacity, not the largest puff number.
• Lowest cost over time: a kit with replacement pods.
